Score 86/100 · Drink 2022-2026, Neal Martin, Feb 2022

The 2007 Branas Grand Poujeaux has a simple and rather monotone nose that doesn’t possess the complexity and charm of the preceding vintage. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly dry tannins, yet there is decent acidity with white pepper, sage and sandalwood notes on the finish. A little rough 'n ready, so drink soon. Tasted at the Branas Grand Poujeaux vertical at the château.
