Score 85/100 · Drink 2022-2025, Neal Martin, Feb 2022

The 2004 Branas Grand Poujeaux has a slightly acetic nose, vinegary and rather disjointed. The palate is denser and more structured than the 2003, notes of caramel, vestiges of red cherry and a leafy, lightly spiced finish that shows a little volatility. Drink soon. Tasted at the Branas Grand Poujeaux vertical at the château.
