The 1992 Gloria has a very light monotone nose, although without any greenness (unlike others). The palate has a ferrous opening, decent weight, fine acidity with touches of spice. This shows more cohesion than other 1992s that I have tasted, fine weight with a grainy, slightly dry and savoury finish. You know…this isn’t bad at all.

About the producer

Gloria
The modest Ch. Gloria was only created in the 1940s, when Henri Martin – a cooper – purchased some vines. With parcels dotted in amongst the region’s Classed Growths, it produces impressive wines. Today it's managed by Vanessa and Jean Triaud (Henri Martin’s granddaughter and grandson-in-law).
