Score 82/100 · Drink 1987-1990, Robert Parker, Jan 1998
Very forward and quite ready to drink, this wine has an attractive fruity character, a medium-bodied, nicely ripe, savory, sweet, lush texture, and little or no tannins present. This wine will hold for a few more years, but other than some further bottle bouquet development, it is ready now. Anticipated maturity: Now. Last tasted, 4/87.

About the producer

Gloria
The modest Ch. Gloria was only created in the 1940s, when Henri Martin – a cooper – purchased some vines. With parcels dotted in amongst the region’s Classed Growths, it produces impressive wines. Today it's managed by Vanessa and Jean Triaud (Henri Martin’s granddaughter and grandson-in-law).
