Dark crimson. Complete and silky and with lots of fruit. Still youthful. Very well mannered. Rather succulent. Well balanced. (Average group score: 15.5) (JR)
The soft, plump, round, and opulent 2003 offers plenty of fig, plum, black cherry, and currant fruit, low acidity, and sweet tannin in a charming, up-front style. Drink it over the next decade.
Very dark. Succulent, opulent, polished texture. Alcohol and tannins overwhelmed by lots of ripe fruit. Very glamorous for the money. Mouthfilling. (JR)
About the producer

Louis Gaspard d’Estournel purchased Cos Labory in 1847 and in tribute to this history, the Reybier family (owners of Cos d’Estournel today) acquired the Saint-Estèphe estate and its 35 hectares of vines in 2023.
