Tasting notes
Wet stone and honey on the nose. Sweeter and more pliant than the Caillerets, but without quite the verve of that wine. Nicely intense flavors of pit fruits and stone. Finishes dry and tactile, with notes of honey and stone and very good length. This needs time.

The 2002 Puligny-Montrachet Les Demoiselles, sporting a nose of minerals and flowers, has a fleshy, sappy, medium-bodied personality. Satiny-textured and rich, it coats the palate with loads of limestone, mineral, liquid rock, and sap flavors. This is a deep wine of outstanding purity and elegance. Anticipated maturity: 2006-2013.
