Pretty inconsequential nose. Sweet start and then a bit dry and dusty and austere with rustic tannins. Dull. Fast fade. (JR)

Score 17.5/20 · Drink 2009-2016, Jancis Robinson MW, Aug 2007

Very sophisticated oak on the nose – pretty dry, classic savoury fruit on the palate – no concessions to modernism. Good classic claret with real refinement of texture. Long, a bit of acidity but not aggressively so. (JR)

Deep colour. Smells like air freshener. Strange, non-classic flavours. Acidity very prominent. Not grown up. Not complete. Tastes like a construct rather than a natural product. Oak tannins grip. (JR)
