About the producer
The estate is named after the Roman poet Ausonius who lived in Saint-Emilion from 311-394 AD. The poet was responsible for bringing people to the Saint-Emilion commune after extolling the virtues of its calm climate and identifying it as the perfect place for a peaceful, good life.
