About the producer
Harlan Estate was founded by H. William (Bill) Harlan. Inspired by Robert Mondavi’s work reviving Napa as a serious wine region, Harlan was determined to establish an estate whose wines could compete with the finest in the world. In the early 1980s, Harlan visited the great estates of Europe, noting a particularly transformative trip with Robert Mondavi in 1980, which helped him understand what was required to make great wine.
