About the producer
Pol Roger was born and raised in the Champagne Grand Cru village of Aÿ. He became a wine merchant at the young age of 18, following the premature illness of his father. Pol Roger sold his first wine in 1849. By 1851, Roger moved the Champagne business to Épernay where it remains to this day.
