The 2023 Puligny-Montrachet Les Folatières 1er Cru has a more complex bouquet than the Clavoillon with hints of lemon thyme and wild peach, quite mineral-driven and expressive. The palate is taut and fresh with impressive weight and energy, lightly spiced with an almost steely finish. This is very refined and should age beautifully in bottle.
