The 2020 Vosne-Romanée Village is very well defined on the nose, the 30% new oak nicely integrated, redcurrant, cranberry and wild strawberry notes emerging in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with a little toastiness on the entry, dark berry fruit with a touch of cedar towards the Morey-like finish. Fine, but it will need 2-3 years in bottle.

Fruit sourced from ten vine parcels around the village. Cask sample. Deep cherry-ruby; pepper and spice; fine acidity and refined tannins. (MH)
