Aromas of hot stones, mineral and dark fruits. Blueberries too. Full to medium body, firm tannins and a long finish. Savory, salty and delicious. Classy for the vintage. Better in 2017.

Gently oaky dark cherry fruit. Savoury and dark on the palate too. Rather hidden at the moment but nicely restrained and promising more, perhaps just a little short on fruit in the middle. (JH)

Good dark red. Musky purple fruits and sexy soil tones on the scented nose, complicated by notes of coffee, mocha, licorice and rose petal. Then youthfully tight and juicy in the middle palate before expanding again on the extremely long, firm aftertaste, which leaves the mouth perfumed.
