Tasting notes
Score 88/100 · Drink 2013-2019, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Jun 2012

The 2009 Mormoreto wraps around the palate with dark cherries, plums, mocha, espresso and licorice. There is plenty of depth and richness in the fruit, but the tannins aren't as polished as they could be. It does not appear this fruit has the intrinsic depth to handle 24 months in French oak. Mormoreto is 62% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 14% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit Verdot.
