Tasting notes
The 2020 Puligny-Montrachet Village, a blend of several parcels, has a light Granny Smith and wet limestone-scented bouquet. It could benefit from more intensity. The palate is well balanced with more depth than expected, fine acidity though it just misses a little complexity and tension on the finish.

The 2020 Puligny-Montrachet Village has turned out nicely, offering up aromas of citrus zest, peach, pastry cream and struck match, followed by a medium to full-bodied, ample and satiny palate underpinned by racy acids. It's very close to the level of the 2017 vintage in quality.
Cask sample. Nutty, bright, fresh fruit. Beautifully integrated oak. Fine acidity. Lots of layers of flavour. Crystalline fruit character. (AWH)
