Score 91/100 · Drink 2017-2032, Robert Parker, Dec 2015

The 2012 Animo, which comes from the Oso Vineyard, is a blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Petit Verdot. This wine is backward for a 2012, with deep mulberry and blackberry fruit, some creosote, charcoal embers, and graphite. It is medium to full-bodied, moderately tannic, and needs another 1-2 years of bottle age. It should certainly age nicely for 15 or more years.
