Roasted almond and very tart lemon fruit on the palate. For a grand cru, this seems quite sharp, and the oak is very much in the background. Medium length, with that mouth-watering zing dominating the finish. (RH)

Strongly floral nose. Concentrated white fruit and a touch of dried-grass character adding complexity. Savoury, mealy finish with great persistence – very appetising and moreish. (RH)
