Tasting notes
Similarly inky purple-hued, the 2019 Cabernet Franc Stagecoach Vineyard has a beautiful perfume of blue fruits, lavender, violets, and spring flowers. I love its purity of fruit, it’s full-bodied, has silky tannins, and a great finish. It’s another fruit-loaded, balanced 2019 from this label that will keep for 10-15 years.

The 2019 Cabernet Franc Stagecoach Vineyard is terrific. Inky, deep and voluptuous, with tremendous depth and nuance, the Stagecoach Franc is seriously impressive. I can't say it is terribly varietal, because it is not, and yet even so, the Franc here is undeniably compelling. Readers should expect an inky, jammy, super-concentrated wine built on textural richness more than anything else.
Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2019 Cabernet Franc Stagecoach Vineyard slowly reveals notes of raspberry leaves, tilled soil and bouquet garni over a core of ripe plums, blueberries and Morello cherries, plus a suggestion of lavender. The full-bodied, tightly knit palate has a firm foundation of fine-grained tannins and bold freshness supporting the nuanced black fruits, finishing long and minerally.
