2014 Vosne Romanée 1er Cru 'Les Chaumes' 0,75 l Francois Lamarche

The 2014 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Chaumes has a charming bouquet with vibrant red fruit, a touch of Indian spice in the background, something a little edgy and Oriental here. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, a little conservative perhaps, holding something back towards the finish. Still, there is good structure on the finish, but I'd like to see a little more flesh develop.
