The 2019 Côte de Nuits-Villages offers up aromas of cherries, raspberries and plums, complemented by hints of sweet spices and loamy soil. Medium to full-bodied, round and fleshy, it's generous but balanced, with a seamless, gourmand profile.

The 2019 Côte de Nuits Village is a blend of nine lieux-dits and represents half the domaine’s production. It has a ripe, opulent nose of crème de cassis and blueberry aromas, the 45% new oak tangible at the moment. The palate is medium-bodied with sweet tannins, a lot of sucrosity and a candied finish. I would just like more Pinot character here.
