Score 86-88/100 · Drink 2021-2026, Neal Martin, Jan 2020
The 2018 Bourgogne Rouge is quite deep in color compared to its peers. It has a more cohesive, refined bouquet than Gros’s Hautes-Côtes, the brambly red fruit mingling with light sous-bois scents. The palate is medium-bodied with crunchy tannins, good acidity and refreshing salinity toward the finish. Fine.
