3,000 cases. Very silky already and round and a hint of walnuts. Really rich and fresh and bouncy. Quite a charmer! Not that thick and sweet. Real delicacy! Seems to have developed relatively fast. Gorgeous. (JR)

Violet perfume, perfectly ripe plum and blackberry fruit. Extraordinarily good and effortless. Juicy, mouth-watering, long exotic spice. (RH)

‘We got just what we needed: late August showers which transformed the vintage’. Absolutely perfect picking conditions. Very deep purple. Heady, opulent nose. Very sumptuous and peppery. Real personality. Complete and vigorous. Perhaps not one of the densest 2011s. Lifted and flirtatious. Dry finish and very suave indeed. Lovely persistence and not too hot. The wine is as dry as Dow, much drier than most famous vintage ports of 2011. They deliberately blended in one Quinta’s produce to ensure it is very fresh. (JR)

Bright, full ruby. Deep, vibrant nose melds kirsch, minerals, licorice, bitter chocolate, lavender and violet. At once dense and penetrating, displaying terrific floral cut to the primary, high-pitched flavors of black cherry, minerals, spices and white pepper. Boasts outstanding fat and inner-mouth floral lift, with bright acidity contributing to the wine's light touch. An utterly seamless young port with outstanding mounting length and precision and the spine to support a slow and glorious evolution in bottle. A great vintage for Cockburn, and an amazing value in world-class wine for laying down. (ST)
