Tasting notes
The 2017 La Tour Blanche is more waxy on the nose than the 2018 and 2019. It's well-defined, with a noticeable marine element and a hint of oyster shell that complements the honeyed fruit. The palate is well balanced and quite mineral driven, with admirable purity and slightly more acidity than other vintages. It is very harmonious and poised on the finish. This is one of my favorite vintages in recent years.

Tasted blind. Pale gold colour. Slightly peppery, with ginger and heather honey on the nose. Very youthful, with precise, vibrant fruit and excellent drive. Not overly broad, it is instead deep and long. A vertical wine with excellent ageing potential. (TP)
The 2017 La Tour Blanche turned out beautifully. Orange and tangerine peel, mint, wild flowers, honey and chamomile all meld together in a Sauternes of nuance, elegance and classiness. This is such a pretty and expressive wine.
The 2017 la Tour Blanche gives up pronounced lime cordial, grapefruit and apricot preserves notes with orange blossoms, ginger and candied peel. The palate offers wonderful concentration, silken texture and bold freshness, finishing with fantastic length.
