Tasting notes
The 2019 Petite Syrah Rattlesnake Ridge is a real showstopper. Low yields in the field produced a Petite endowed with tremendous richness and tannic heft. Inky dark fruit, chocolate, leather, licorice, cloves and gravel build in a vertical, deep Petite that delivers the goods, and then some. All the personality of Petite from Howell Mountain is in the glass. The Rattlesnake is another truly special wine from Turley in 2019.

The 2019 Petite Syrah Rattlesnake Ridge is another magnificent wine in this range. Extravagantly rich, and opulent the 2019 saturates the palate with an exotic concoction of blackberry jam, crème de cassis, lavender, licorice, graphite and cloves. Layers of flavor built into deep, textured crescendo that is so captivating. I can understand why winemaker Tegan Passalacqua opted to give the 2019 a little extra time in barrel. What a gorgeous and promising wine this is.
