Score 96-98/100 · Drink 2028-2050, Neal Martin, Nov 2024

The 2023 Richebourg Grand Cru has a wonderful bouquet, a step above the Cros Parantoux with irresistible, vivacious brambly red fruit, briar, crushed stone and light iris flower scents. The aromatics seem multilayered here. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, a caressing sense of rondeur and what feels like a little lower acidity than the previous vintage. Cashmere textures pervade from start to finish without the "explosion" you might find on the 2022, yet it is seamlessly integrated with a very persistent finish. Superb.
