Cask sample. Rich and chestnutty. Almost like a Barthod wine! Dry finish. (JR)

The 2021 Nuits Saint-Georges Aux Boudots 1er Cru has a touch more fruit concentration on the nose than Grivot's other cuvées, maybe just a soupçon more exoticism. The palate is medium-bodied , edgy and tensile, a little more angular than the Pruliers at the moment yet with plenty of energy on the finish. Very classy.

Cask sample. Mid ruby. Rich and flavourful. Silky, energetic with very classic Pinot Noir character and length. Good. (MH)
