(from a .3 ha parcel replanted in 1985). Here too there is enough wood to comment upon on the even more elegant nose of red currant, expansive spice elements and earth and floral touches. The dense, serious and overtly muscular big-bodied flavors possess impressive power and drive on the stylish if firmly structured and wonderfully persistent finish. At present, this excellent effort appears to be the class of the Gros 2020s. 2035+ 93-95 Points
