AP number 24 23. Water white. Cheesy nose. Then sleek, smooth fruit with flavours of blossom. Really interesting wine though you do have to pay a premium for it. Super-appetising. (JR)

What amazing harmony this Nahe riesling GG has in spite of the vibrancy of its very racy acidity. Amazing spice and smoke in the nose with notes of pomelo and grapefruit on the concentrated and impeccably proportioned palate. Some grapefruit pith bitterness at the finish, but this just adds to the excitement that the slatey minerality generates and beams out to the whole galaxy. Drinkable now, but best from 2024.
Delicate smoke hangs over ripe fruit aromas. Highly textured and concentrated, just more of everything as compared to Frühlingsplätzchen. Wild and pristine. A race car running on high octane. Tight, tropical contours shaded in with salt and smoke and stone. Incredibly long finish. Zippy, zesty good morning juice – better than grapefruit – and complex enough to drink all day. (PS)
