Score 89/100 · Drink 1990-2000, Robert Parker, Jan 1990
The monopole Vosne-Romanee Clos des Reas is rich and perfumed in 1985, has a dark ruby color, makes a very broad impression on the palate, and should be ideal for drinking between 1990 and 2000. There is not a more elegant woman in all of Burgundy than Madame Gros. And not surprisingly, her wines are usually impeccably made. Madame Gros thinks 1985 is her best vintage since 1978.
