Good red-ruby. Musky aromas of redcurrant, wild berries and smoky oak. Primary, large-scaled, broad and dry; this reminded me of a 2005 in its sheer volume. Plenty of minerality in this very dry and uncompromising wine. The finishing flavors really saturate the entire palate and the tannins are quite fine.

Deep red. Very reduced aromas of smoky oak and meat. Finely sculpted and firmly mineral; cooler and more precise than the wines that preceded it, with hints of licorice and herbs. An accurate reflection of its cooler site in the combe Very backward, minerally wine. This will need a good five or six years of cellaring.
