Score 89/100 · Drink 1993-1998, Robert Parker, Oct 1993

Jean-Marc Boillot has become an important domaine for white burgundy enthusiasts as the vineyards formerly leased to Domaine Sauzet have reverted back to Boillot's control. The 1992s are the best wines I have tasted from Jean-Marc - rich, authoritatively flavored, luscious white burgundies for drinking over the next 5-6 years. The same as said for the 1992 Puligny-Montrachet-Les Champs Canet can be said for the 1992 Puligny-Montrachet-La Truffiere. It boasts a honeyed character in its bouquet, medium body, excellent extraction of fruit, soft, low acidity, and plenty of powerful alcohol and extract in the finish. Drink this decadent white burgundy over the next 4-5 years. Importer: Vineyard Brands (Robert Haas), Chester, VT.
