Score 90/100 · Drink 2019-2026, Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Aug 2019

Deep, bright copper-gold. Slightly exotic scents of orange zest, peach pit and honeycomb, plus a hint of strawberry; smells a bit like an old Vouvray demi-sec . Fat and silky on the palate, with the slightly exotic singed-orange fruit character complicated by caramel, toffee and hazelnut notes and enlivened by surprisingly fresh acidity. Finishes with notes of minerals and Bananas Foster, and just enough Chablis nerve to keep it lively.
