Score 81/100 · Drink 1998-2000, Robert Parker, Apr 2000

Very dark red colour. Nose less oaky than usual and this seems to have more concentration than the Cissac 1995. Hopefully an indication that the wine-making here is improving. Good acidity with some well-integrated cedar and flavours of new oak. Drink over the next couple of years. Tasted March 1998. (No tasting note was provided in Issue 128. We have instead included the text of the tasting note from the 2000 Neal Martin’s Wine Journal)
