Tasting notes
Typically the most powerful wine from Paul Pernot’s, the 2024 Bâtard-Montrachet is another classical example, of Grand Cru power and intensity. The nose fresh and bright, ripe citrus, nutty, slightly smoky notes from subtle reduction. The palate is round, powerful and intense, with real viscosity and weight to the ripe citrus and stone fruit – rich and concentrated, lots of extract but balanced, fresh and energetic. Intense, cool, limey, saline finish. Will reward patience – a must for fans of the Domaine.
