Magnum. The first year that a little (1%) Petit Verdot was included. Blackish crimson. Sweet and racy and very flattering. Perhaps not that concentrated but a valid effort. Just a little raw on the end. (JR)

Rather dull crimson. Sweet and toasty – rather obvious oak. A bit simple and tarty. Airline wine? (JR)

Dark and glossy. Correct and quite intense. Soft and smooth – much softer tannins than most 2004s. Beautifully managed! Bravo! You could drink this young but it will probably last well too. (JR)
