Score 85/100 · Drink 1993-1999, Robert Parker, Feb 1993
An attractively ripe, oaky, black cherry-scented nose is followed by a wine with medium body, soft, smooth flavors, low acidity, and some tannin. Although there is something slick about its style, it is an enjoyable, cleanly made, chunky wine that is ideal for drinking over the next 5-6 years.

About the producer

Olivier
Ch. Olivier is one of the few actual castles in Bordeaux – coming with a moat and drawbridge. Since Alexandre de Bethmann took over here in 2012, the château has been given a new lease of life, with quality on the rise.
