Tasted blind. Blackish crimson. Sweet and fresh on the nose. Not overdone but the tannins are pretty marked! Could do with just a little more mellifluous fruit. Rather like fermented dried fruit, but quite dramatic. Finish is a tad tarry. Bécot-owned. (JR)

Very dark crimson. Tarry and introvert, pretty porty start with masses of sweetness in the middle and acidity on the finish. Not really very mellow but lots of effort here. Rather drying on the finish. (JR)

Good ruby-red. Extravagantly ripe aromas of plum, game, smoke, bitter chocolate and musky espresso. Broad, fat and sweet, with a compelling mouthfilling texture. Wonderfully pliant wine, finishing with uncommonly sweet tannins and terrific breadth and length. A great vintage for this property.
