Tasting notes
The 2021 Meursault Village has a taut, tightly-wound and quite stony bouquet that is flinty and stoic. The palate is very well-balanced with a silver bead of acidity and touches of peach skin and chamomile towards the gentle finish. Fine.

The 2021 Meursault Village has a lively, minerally, almost flinty bouquet that is beautifully focused. The palate is very well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, taut and fresh, almost steely with a vigorous and persistent, saline finish. This is excellent and punches above its weight. Bravo.
The 2021 Meursault Village offers up aromas of minty pear, white flowers and clear honey, followed by a medium-bodied, ample and seamless palate that's charming and open-knit in style, with lively acids but only moderate concentration.
From Clos de la Baronne, Les Crotots and Les Gruyaches. Tank sample. Mid-pale lemon. Apple, citrus, a hint of toast. Firm and dense like stone, not fat at all. Saline mid-palate and a touch of spice on the finish. (MH)
