Score 89+/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous
Brilliant, deep ruby-red. Wonderfully perfumed, classy nose melds cassis, cherry, blood orange, pepper, nutmeg and sandalwood. Chewy, rather powerful flavors of tangy red berries. Expansive and dense but backward; rather dominated by its structure. Here the tannins are a bit tougher than in the estate Richebourg, and there's a bit less mid-palate opulence.
