Score 92-94/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous

Sweet, ripe aromas of apricot, grilled nuts and spicy oak. Rather elegantly styled for Batard, with wonderful sappy sweetness of fruit. Not overly powerful or austere, and carries its alcohol gracefully. Finishes very long, with mineral and menthol notes adding interest to the strong, snappy fruit.
