Deep, vivid ruby. A complex, highly perfumed bouquet evokes fresh black and blue fruits, violet, licorice and a touch of gaminess. Sweet and penetrating on the palate, offering intense boysenberry, floral pastille and spicecake flavors that deepen on the back half. Dusty tannins lend shape to the very long, smoky finish, which leaves behind a suggestion of olive.
