Score 85-87/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous
Deep red. Reticent cherry and floral aromas. Juicy and fresh, but lacks the texture and depth of the '97s vinified by Jadot. Tannins are strong and the finish is slightly tart (acidified by the grower?). Lacks personality.
