Moderately saturated medium red. Lively, pure aromas of raspberry and flowers; I had the impression of getting back to my preferred style of Burgundy Supple and round, but juicy thanks to an edge of acidity. Subtle notes of red fruits, flowers and minerals. Finishes with dusty tannins.

Sweet grapes and black cherries can be found in the expressive aromatics of the 2002 Chambolle-Musigny. This extroverted, elegant, medium-bodied wine offers powerful, satin-textured waves of dark fruits intermingled with pepper. Good deep red. Sappy aromas of dark berries and espresso; slightly reduced. Sweet and seductive on the palate, with a generous texture and a hint of gamey reduction. Fine-grained tannins are nicely integrated. Should make a sweet, stylish village wine.

Based in Chambolle-Musigny, the domaine was established by Georges Roumier in 1924. The domaine started to bottle their own wines in 1945.
