Good medium red. Brambly raspberry and a whiff of game on the nose. Suave on entry, then rather tightly wound, with red berry flavors framed by a spine of acidity. Finishes long and tangy, with substantial dusty tannins. Not especially expansive, but spicy and pure for the year.
