Much cleaner and more classic than their Boutières Pernand-Vergelesses. Gorgeous cranberry and black cherry flavour with a little spicy earth character and great concentration on the finish. (RH)

Bright medium ruby. An essence of crushed blackberry on the extremely primary, slightly reduced nose, with a violet element providing lift. Reticent and tightly wound but penetrating; less sweet and even stonier than the Lavaux Saint-Jacques. This uncompromisingly dry, mineral-driven wine finishes with lovely lingering perfume but will need patience.
