Tasting notes
The 2019 Morey-Saint-Denis Clos Solon offers up aromas of sweet berry fruit, plums, peonies and raw cocoa. Medium-bodied, bright and lively, with supple tannins and a succulent core of fruit, it will offer a broad drinking window.

Ripe aromas of plum and various dark berries and soft spice complement the nicely detailed and vibrant flavors that possess very good volume before concluding in a firm, dusty and youthfully austere finale. This is actually quite attractively sleek thanks to the nicely fine-grained tannins and overall, this is a fine Morey villages that should reward 5 to 8 years of cellaring.
