Score 92/100 · Drink 2020-2033, Stephan Reinhardt, Wine Advocate, Oct 2018

The 2016 Hunawihr Pinot Gris Clos Windsbuhl is still a bit reductive on the nose but pure and fresh, with healthy white fruit aromas along with lemon and limestone notes. The attack on the palate is piquant and tight, and the wine reveals power and concentration but is closed at the moment, showing nothing but potential and a delicate sweetness (ten grams per liter) that gives a lift and juicy character to this coolish, very mineral and firmly structured Pinot from the Windsbuhl terroir. Tasted in June 2018.
