Score 94-96/100 · Drink 1994-2014, Robert Parker, Apr 1994
Another dazzling effort from Patrick Campbell, this gorgeously opulent, voluptuously-textured, super-concentrated wine already exhibits an enticingly complex bouquet of chocolate, cedar, herbs, cassis, and damp, woodsy aromas. Full-bodied, with the sweet, juicy, succulent fruit that is the vintage's trademark, this wine possesses low enough acidity and sweet enough tannin to be approachable young, but it should keep for two decades. NOTE: This wine is not available for purchase as a wine future.
