The 2000 Barolo Bussia Vigna Munie is quite a bit fresher and darker than the Rocche. Layers of rich fruit are supported by fine, harmonious tannins all the way through to the finish. This is a terrific showing for the Fiurin.

Full red, a bit less bright than the Vigna Fiurin. Musky aromas of strawberry, maraschino cherry, mocha and nuts; less aromatic and more oaky than the Fiurin. Sweet and nicely concentrated, with musky, slightly medicinal notes of coffee, mocha and chicory. Not as primary as the Fiurin and showing somewhat harder tannins today.
