Good deep red. Aromas of redcurrant and raspberry lifted by a stony nuance. Supple but firm, with juicy, nicely delineated flavors of red berries and minerals. Wound tighter than the Roncieres. Finishes with sweet tannins and good sappy fruit.

Cask sample. Slightly oxidized sample. Lots of substance. A little lack of freshness, but obviously lots of guts here. (JR)
